Peak Shaving Mode
NOTICE
Peak shaving mode is mainly applicable to industrial and commercial scenarios. When the
total power consumption of the loads exceeds the peak shaving limit, the battery discharges
to reduce the power consumption exceeds the peak shaving limit.

Time Description
A To make sure that the electricity buying from the grid is under the Import power
limit, the PV system, battery, and grid power the loads together once the Load
power exceeds the Import power limit.
B To make sure that the electricity buying from the grid is under the Import power
limit, the PV system, battery, and grid power the loads together once the Load
power exceeds the Import power limit. The grid continues to power the loads while
the PV system charges the battery in priority.
C The grid charges the battery between the start time (C) and end time (D). The time is
set in SolarGo app. Refer to the SolarGo app user manual at https://en.goodwe.com.
D After D, the PV system keeps charging the battery, but the grid stops charging until
the Battery SOC reaches Peak Shaving SOC.
E The battery enters self consumption mode as the Battery SOC is at or higher than
Peak Shaving SOC. The PV system takes priority to power the loads, and the excess
power charges the battery.
F Under self consumption mode, the battery stops discharging for loads as Peak
Shaving SOC is reached.
