6.9 Connecting the RS485 Signal Cable
NOTICE
• The EzLogger oers RS485 communication ports for connecting RS485 communication
devices, such as inverters, smart meters, or environmental monitoring instruments.
• The EzLogger oers DER_AVM signal control port, meeting requirements in Korea and
other regions.
• Connect RS485A of the device to RS485A of the EzLogger, and RS485B to RS485B of the
EzLogger.
• Ensure that the shielded layer of the shielded twisted pair cable is properly grounded.
