Cleaning the nozzle
Depending on the period of time between
dispensing operations, disinfectant deposits
may stick to the nozzle and block it. If this
happens, clean the nozzle as described
below. To prevent clogging, we
recommend cleaning the nozzle weekly or
after a long period of inactivity.
To clean the nozzle, carefully turn the front
cap of the nozzle 180° clockwise and back
again. The nozzle should now be free and
the Santinel should work normally again.
Important: Do not turn the nozzle too far or it
may come off and expose the sealing
mechanism. If this happens, reassemble it carefully and reinstall it.
It is only necessary to dismantle the sealing mechanism if the nozzle becomes
extremely clogged.
