9. Cleaning and maintenance
Suggested maintenance intervals
The recommended intervals for servicing the Santinel are as follows:
Cleaning the housing
You can clean the outside of the Santinel using a soft cloth moistened in a mild
household cleaning product. Do not use any product that is abrasive or otherwise
aggressive to surfaces that consist of clear plastic.
Each time you replace the disinfectant fluid container with a new one, clean the
container compartment. Wipe up any spilled disinfectant fluid carefully.
WARNING! Any service operation that requires removal of a cover must be
performed by a professional service technician with the necessary tools,
skills, qualifications and personal protective equipment to maintain and
repair electronic and electrical medical equipment safely and efficiently.
