Switching off the appliance
- Press the switch (33/34 Fig. R) to “O” to
turn off the appliance (only for cord mod-
el, the switch light turns off).
- (For cord model) unplug the plug (32 Fig.
R) from the power socket.
Battery Charging
(For battery model)
NOTE:
Charge the battery when only 3 or less bat-
tery LEDs are on (37 Fig. T).
When the battery is low (3 ashes of LED 1),
make sure that it does not remain in this con-
dition for a long time so as not to reduce the
life of the battery itself.
- On the control, check that the switch (34
Fig. R) is in position “O”.
- Remove the batteries as indicated in the
paragraph “Installation/removal of batter-
ies”.
- Connect the power plug (38 Fig. T) of
the charger (39 Fig. T) to the mains (the
mains voltage and frequency must be
equal to the corresponding values of the
charger, shown on its nameplate).
- The operation lights (40 Fig. T) and the
warning lights (41 Fig. T) turn on in suc-
cession for about 1 second and the built-
in fans run for about 5 seconds.
- Insert the batteries all the way on the
slide coupling (42 Fig. T).
- The operating light (40 Fig. T) on the
charger flashes.
- Once charging is finished, the charger
automatically switches to the mainte-
nance charge.
- The batteries can stay inside the charger
so they are always ready for use.
- The operating light (40 Fig. T) on the
charger turns on permanently.
NOTE:
To view the charge level of the lithium-ion
batteries, rst remove the battery from the
charger, then press the button on the battery
(43 Fig. T).
NOTE:
You can recharge the batteries even if they
are not completely flat without compromising
their lifespan.
- Once the batteries have been charged,
reassemble them as indicated above.
NOTE:
When the vacuum cleaner is in operation,
LED 4 on the battery flashes every 15 sec-
onds, this indicates that the battery is work-
ing correctly.
NOTE:
Never put the appliance away after use with flat
batteries. If necessary, recharge the batteries.
For prolonged periods of storage of the appli-
ance and the batteries, periodically check the
charge status.
