First charging of batteries
(For battery-powered model)
- Remove the charger and batteries from
the packaging.
- Follow the instructions indicated in the
paragraph “Charging the batteries” and
the one indicated in the “instructions for
use” of the battery and charger.
NOTE:
For more information on operation of the
charger and batteries, refer to the corre-
sponding manuals.
Installing/removing batteries
(For battery-powered model)
- Check that the power switch (37 Fig.
S) on the control is in the “O” position.
NOTE:
If the power switch is left on “I” or “II” and
the vacuum cleaner restarts or not, once the
batteries have been replaced, reposition the
switch to “O”.
- Fit the batteries (20 Fig. M) on the ma-
chine body by inserting them into their
housing (21 Fig. M).
- Press the batteries (20 Fig. M) until you
hear the “CLICK” of attachment.
- To remove the batteries, press the re-
lease button (22 Fig. N) and remove the
batteries (20 Fig. N).
Accessory holder assembly
- On the lower belt (23 Fig. O), insert the
accessory carrier flap (24 Fig. O), then at-
tach it to the Velcro.
- There are elastic straps on the flap to
arrange the accessories (brush nozzle,
crevice nozzle and curtain/sofa nozzle).
Arrangement the appliance on your
shoulders
- Lift the appliance and put it on your shoul-
ders.
- Use the buckles (26 Fig. P) to adjust the
should straps (25 Fig. P), if necessary
adjusting the height at the shoulders by
means of the straps (27 Fig. P).
- Attach and close the lower belt (28 Fig. P)
using the Velcro.
- Hook and adjust the height of the chest
belt (29 Fig. P) using the buckles (30 Fig.
P), if necessary using the buckle (31 Fig.
P) to adjust the width.
USE OF THE APPLIANCE
Starting the appliance
(For cord model)
- Insert the plug (32 Fig. Q) into the power
socket.
- On the control, press the switch (33 Fig.
R) to “I” to start suction (the switch lamp
lights up).
(For battery model)
- On the control, press the switch (34 Fig.
R) to “I” to start suction in “STANDARD”
mode, or to “II” for suction in “BOOST”
mode.
NOTE:
You can adjust the suction force by act-
ing on the selector (35 Fig. S) located
on the ergonomic handle (10 Fig. S).
Opening the window (36 Fig. S) results in
less suction action.
(For battery-powered model) for greater bat-
tery autonomy, we recommend turning the
appliance o during transfers.
