WARNING:

Unplug the machine while it is func-

tioning only if absolutely necessary;

do not follow this procedure to turn

off the machine as it may cause seri-

ous damage to it.

1.2.h - General instructions for mod-

els connected to the fixed

power supply

- Ensure that the voltage matches that

indicated on the data plate before

turning the unit on.

- To unplug the unit from the socket,

pull the plug itself and NOT the ca-

ble.

- Unwind the entire power cable when

using the unit.

- Solely approved extension cables

can be used. These must be ad-

equate for the power of the unit and

must also be in good condition.

- Do not use the unit if either the plug

or power cable is not in good condi-

tion.

- If the power cable is damaged, this

can only be replaced by a technical

support centre that is authorised by

the manufacturer.

- Do not slide the power cable on

sharp edges.

- Do not pinch or crush the power ca-

ble.

- Do not use the unit with wet or damp

hands.

- The plug must be removed from the

socket before any maintenance or

cleaning procedures are implement-

ed.

- When depositing the unusable unit

at appropriate collection points, the

power cord must be removed in order

to ensure it is not used.

WARNING:

Do not allow the supply cord to come

into contact with the rotating brush-

es.

1.2.i - General warnings about the

batteries

- The battery acid is corrosive: in case

of contact with skin, rinse thoroughly

with water and consult a physician.

- Wear protective goggles and gloves

for use with corrosive substances.

- Do not inhale the vapour: it is danger-

ous.

- Charging the battery may form explo-

sive mixtures of gas, so the rooms

in which the battery is charged must

be well ventilated and in accordance

with specific rules.

- It is forbidden to smoke and/or use

naked flames within 2 metres of the

battery during charging, in the charg-

ing area and while the battery is cool-

ing after charging.

- Hazardous voltage / current inside

the battery. The battery pack is not

a serviceable part. Never attempt to

open the battery for any reason.

- Report any liquid leaking from the

battery:

leaks are dangerous and highly pol-

luting.
