1.2.b - Operator position

While using the machine, the operator is

position at the rear of the machine with

his hands on the handle (walk-behind)

or sitting in the driving position with his

hands on the steering wheel (ride-on).

1.2.c - Protective clothing

- Use protective clothing as indicated

in the standards in force in the coun-

try in which the machine is used.

1.2.d - General precautions for trans-

port and storage

- Transport and storage must be car-

ried out while protected from weath-

er.

- Do not place any other packages on

top of the machine.

Temperature from 5°C to 40°C; humidity

from 20% to 60%; barometric pressure

from 990hPa to 1040hPa.

1.2.e - General warnings before use

- Before using the machine, check that

the fi xed safety guards (covers) are

always correctly secured in position.

1.2.f - General safety instructions

- Plastic bags, polystyrene, paper

clips, etc. must not be left within the

reach of children, as these are poten-

tial sources of danger.

- Do not leave the unit exposed to the

elements.

- Do not use the unit if its operation

is faulty. Take this to an authorised

technical support centre.

- Do not immerse the unit into water or

other liquids.

1.2.g - General warnings while

using the machine

- If the machine makes strange noises,

stop it immediately and identify the

cause.

- Do NOT abandon the machine on

surfaces which slope by more than

2%.

- While using the machine, do not

knock into shelving or cupboards.

- It is forbidden to use the machine

outdoors or on public roads.

- If possible, use the machine in envi-

ronments where no persons are pre-

sent; in the present of unauthorised

persons, warn them to move away

before using the machine.

- Do not use the machine’s suction and

liquid collection system on previously

wet floors with a high concentration

of foaming agent.

- Do not use the machine in environ-

ments with the presence of corrosive

or salty substances.

- Do not use the machine in explosive

environments (ATEX).

- Never leave the device unattended

when it is not switched off and with

the mains plug or the battery pack re-

moved.

EMERGENCY

In case of emergency pull the plug out

of the socket; to disconnect power to the

circuits and to stop all the functions of

the machine.
