Setting up

Take out T500 Machine from the box (g. A).

Insert the Thermal cover supporting boards according to the
corresponding marks (g. B).

Plug the machine into wall socket (g. C).
Prepare documents to be bound

Select the correct sized Thermal Cover for the relating number of
pages to be bound.

Having selected your cover, place it around your document with
the glue spine running along the left-hand edge of the paper (g.
D).
Binding

Touch power button on Machine to turn on (g. E).

The LED screen shows the Binding time.

Pull the handle to open the heating tank.

Place the prepared document in the heating tank slot with the
glue edge against the heating plate (g. F).

When the time nishes, remove document from the heating tank
and place into the cooling tank at the rear (g. G).

Cool for 3-5 mins.

The binding is complete (g. H).

• Only use the unit for its intended purpose.
• Do not touch the heating plate of this unit as it may be hot.
• The unit must only be connected to a supply voltage corresponding
to the electrical rating shown on the unit.
• Unit should be connected to a socket outlet near the equipment
that is easily accessible.
• Do not connect to multi adaptors or use with an extension cable.
• Failure to follow these instructions could result in damage/injury
and will invalidate your guarantee.
• Do not attempt to service or repair the unit yourself.
• In the event of a fault, unplug the unit and contact your retailer or
distributor.
• Do not use this unit if the cable or plug have been damaged.
• This equipment is not suitable for use in locations where children
are likely to be present.
• Use the device in a suitable, properly installed and easily
accessible mains power socket. Locate near the outlet and do not
use extension cords. Make sure the device can be disconnected
from the mains at all times.
Service
WARNING: Do not attempt to service or repair the punch.
Failure to observe this warning could result in severe
personal injury or death.
Disconnect the plug from the socket outlet and contact GBC
Technical Service when one or more of the following has occurred.
• The power supply cord or attachment plug is damaged.
• Liquid has been spilled into the punch.
• The punch is malfunctioning after being mishandled.
• The punch does not operate as described in these instructions.
