3) Fabricate the FRU-NMEA-PFF-060 cable as follows.
1) On the end of the side without the FRU connector, cut into the one end part of the FRU
connector. Expose inner vinyl sheath by approx. 40 mm. Be careful not to damage inner
shield and cores.
2) Wrap the drain wire with a vinyl tube.
Note: Make sure the rubber bush and ring are oriented correctly (as shown in the figure
above).
3) Twist the blue and white core wires and a resistor assembly, and attach a closed-end lug
to the wires.
