Installation examples for a pleasure boat
No tuna tower
With tuna tower
Sensor fixed to
a platform
Do not mount the sensor like this.
Vibration can damage the sensor.
Fixing holes should "surround"
the sensor. Further, fix the
mounting pole at a right angle.
The recommended dimensions
for the pole are:
Diameter: more than φ80 mm
Length: less than 500 mm
Radome
radar antenna

Fix directly to vessel, above
other equipment as much as possible.
Pipe with
large diameter
Fix sensor to pipe at stern side of sensor
if guardrail or the like runs to top of tuna tower, etc.
