Connection when using the optional cable assembly
If your ship does not need SOLAS certification, the optional cable assembly (type: FRU-LMT-
18-SINGLE) can be used. This allows you to connect the control unit and processor unit directly
without connecting via the NMEA 2000 backbone. In this case, note that only one control unit can
be connected and NMEA 2000 equipment cannot be connected to the NAVpilot.
