Changing the Needles
Your Air Needle Scaler comes with 19 x 180mm x 3mm needles installed. To
replace the needles follow these steps.
1. Unscrew the needle assemble from the tool body and remove grub screws from
the sleeve.
2. Remove the retaining circlip and disassemble the needle assembly.
3. Change the 19 x 180 mm x 3 mm needles and reassemble the needles into the
sleeve.
4. Complete the final re-assembly of the Air Needle Scaler screwing the sleeve to
the tool body and securing the grub screws.
WARNING! Disconnect the air needle scaler from the air supply before
carrying out maintenance and/or changing the needles
Do not touch the needles immediately after operation as they may get hot
during use. Wait for the needle to completely cool before handling.
