KNOW YOUR PRODUCTAIR HAMMER CHISEL SAFETY WARNINGS
• Avoid direct contact with the inserted tool as they may get hot during and
after use.
• Never use any chisel as a hand-struck tool. They are specifically designed and
heat-treated for use only in air powered hammer chisels.
• Never cool a hot accessory in water. Brittleness and early failure can occur.
• Potentially explosive atmospheres can be caused by dust and fumes resulting
from sanding or grinding. Always use dust extraction or suppression systems
which are suitable for the material being processed.
• Dust and fumes generated when using sanders can cause ill health. All
integral features or accessories for the collection, extraction or suppression
of airborne dust or fumes should be correctly used and maintained in
accordance with these instructions.
• Use respiratory protection in accordance with the local health and safety
regulations. Always assess the material being processed and take appropriate
measures to minimize and/or remove exposure.
• Prolonged exposure to vibration can cause damage to the nerves and bloody
supply of the hands and arms.
• If you experience numbness, tingling, pain or whitening of the skin in your
fingers or hands, stop using the air hammer chisel and seek medical attention.
