• High-reaction torque can be developed in case of stalling, which can be
caused by excessive loads being applied to the drill bit, by the drill bit
snagging on the material being drilled into or by the drill bit breaking through
the material being drilled. Maintain a firm grip on the handles of the drill
while drilling. Always be ready to counteract the reaction torque from the drill
and be ready to let go of the trigger at any time the drill stalls.
• Avoid direct contact with the inserted drill bits or other accessories during and
after use as it can be hot or sharp.
• Dust and fumes generated when using drills can cause ill health. Always use
the drill in well ventilated environment and if this is not possible, use dust and
fume extractors.
• Use respiratory protection in accordance with the local health and safety
regulations. Always assess the material being processed and take appropriate
measures to minimize and/or remove expose.
• Always ensure the work piece is secured before commencing work. Unsecured
work piece may spin out of control during drilling operations and cause
injuries and damages.
