Level Door
For type B top hinge, remove the
hinge pin from the top hinge. Put the
hinge pin through the hole on the
opposite side. Flip the top hinge over
and attach it to the freezer door.
Lower the freezer door over the
center hinge pin at a 90 degree
angle, and then close the door,
holding it in place.
9. Place the lower hinge cover between
the freezer door and refrigerator
door to keep it level while attaching
the top hinge.
Top Hinge
10. Align the top hinge to the holes on
the unit and attach screws with a 5/16
in. socket, then place the top hinge
cover on the unit (some models).
11. Replace the lower hinge covers.
8. For type A top hinge, attach the top
hinge to the freezer door.
Lower the freezer door over the

angle, and then close the door,
holding it in place.
