Stacking loudspeakers
If UTOPIA CINEMA loudspeakers are stacked on top of each other:
• The products must not be stacked on top of each other in such a way that the weight is transferred between them. The
mounting system is designed to support the weight of a single product. We do not recommend mounting one UTOPIA
CINEMA loudspeaker on/in the wall and stacking other loudspeakers on top of it. This is only possible when the first
product is placed on the floor or in an alcove.
• If the UTOPIA CINEMA loudspeaker is placed on the floor, the brackets only act to lock it in po-
sition, and do not support its weight. It is then possible to stack speakers on/in the wall.

When stacking CINEMA LCR loudspeakers, it is essential to follow the recommended orientations to guarantee the best
possible sound experience. The tweeters of each loudspeaker must be aligned to deliver sonic coherence (see fig LCR.A).

sible sound experience. The ports of each loudspeaker must be aligned (see fig.SUB.A).
CINEMA LCR acoustic centre
The positioning of the acoustic centre may vary depending on how one or more CINEMA LCR loudspeakers are arranged.
Make sure you take this into account when installing the loudspeakers. If several speakers are stacked on top of each other,
either horizontally or vertically, the acoustic centre is aligned with the central axis of the stack (CINEMA LCR, see fig LCR.B).
CINEMA LCR settings
To ensure optimum sound reproduction from the CINEMA LCR loudspeaker, to suit different configurations, consult the va-
rious setting options (see fig.7). These parameters vary according to the orientation of the loudspeakers, whether or not a
calibration system is used, and the specific listening conditions. Depending on the position of the CINEMA LCR loudspeaker in
the room, adjust the directionality of the sound using the control on the front of the product (see fig.8).
Recommended settings (CINEMA LCR, see fig. 9)
1. Recommended settings with a vertical calibration system:
• Tweeter = 0dB
• Midrange = +2dB
• Midbass = +2.5dB
• Sound orientation = 0°
2. Recommended settings with a horizontal calibration system for left and right channels only:
• Tweeter = +2.5dB
• Midrange = +2dB
• Midbass = +2.5dB
• Sound orientation = -30°
3. Recommended settings with no calibration system, for vertical HiFi listening, with no subwoofer:
• Tweeter = -3dB
• Midrange = -1.5dB
• Midbass = -2.5dB
• Sound orientation = 0°
4. Recommended settings with a horizontal calibration system for central channels:
• Tweeter = +2.5dB
• Midrange = +2dB
• Midbass = +2.5dB
• Sound orientation = -30°
5. Recommended settings with no calibration system and behind a projection screen:
• Tweeter = +2.5dB
• Midrange = +0dB
• Midbass = +0dB
• Sound orientation = 0°
