Replacement of the
motor protection lter
HEPA / ULPA lter is located under the air outlet grill.
1. Remove the air outlet grill by pressing the buttons
[I].
2. Remove the HEPA/ULPA lter [J] and replace it
with a new HEPA/ULPA lter.
3. Reinstall air outlet grill and press it until a click is
heard.
HEPA* = HIGH EFFICIENCY PARTICULATE
ULPA* = ULTRA LOW PENETRATION AIR FILTER
*Depends on the model

Note!
Replacement period: Approx. after 6 months.

If a larger motor protection lter is available in the dust
bag package, please cut this o so that it shall be suit-
able for the appliance. Ensure that the motor protec-
tion lter always covers the vacuum motor completely
and that no dust can reach the motor.
Attention!
1. Open the dust compartment and remove the dust
bag (see “Replacing the dust bag").
2. Press the noise insulation activation button [H]
and tilt it forward to remove the motor protection
lter.
3. Remove the motor protection lter and install a
new motor protection lter.
4. Close the motor protection lter grill again.
5. Place the dust bag again and close the dust com-
partment lid (see “Replacing the dust bag").
