Network Port Requirements and Licensed Third-Party Software

Reset Modes
The TLI Pro 201 has three reset modes that are initiated by pressing the Reset button:
• Use Factory Firmware (see page 35)
• Reset Network Settings (see page 36)
• Full Factory Reset (see page 36)
• Toggle DHCP Client (see page 37)
The Reset button is found on the front panel (see figure 5,
B
on page 10).
Use Factory Firmware
Purpose and Notes
Use this mode to temporarily boot up the unit with factory installed firmware for a single power cycle in the event
that a firmware update has failed or if incompatibility issues arise with user-loaded firmware.
Activation
To start the Use Factory Firmware reset mode and replace firmware:
1. Remove power to the TLI Pro 201.
2. On the TLI Pro 201, hold down the recessed R (reset) button while applying power to the unit. When power is
restored, the Power LED lights. Hold the reset button for a further 2 seconds before releasing it. The
TLI Pro 201 enters factory firmware mode.
3. Upload new firmware to the unit as desired (see Updating Firmware on page 30).
NOTE: Do not operate the interface firmware version that results from the reset. If you want to use the
factory default firmware, you must upload that version again (see Updating Firmware).
Result
The TLI Pro 201 reverts to the factory installed firmware. Event scripting does not start if the unit is powered on in
this mode. All user files and settings such as drivers, adjustments, and IP settings are maintained.
NOTE: To return the unit to the firmware version that was running prior to the reset, cycle power to the unit.
