ATTENTION:
• Unless otherwise stated, the AC/DC adapters are not suitable for use in air handling spaces or in wall
cavities.

• The installation must always be in accordance with the applicable provisions of National Electrical Code
ANSI/NFPA 70, article 725 and the Canadian Electrical Code part 1, section 16. The power supply shall
not be permanently fixed to a building structure or similar structure.

• Power supply voltage polarity is critical. Incorrect voltage polarity can damage the power supply and the
unit. The ridges on the side of the cord (see figure 7) identify the power cord negative lead.

To verify the polarity before connection, plug in the power supply with no load and check the output with a
voltmeter.

NOTE: Figure 8 shows the NAV SD 121. The NAV D 121 is identical with the exception of the silkscreening.
A
Power LED — Indicates power and startup status, as follows:
• Blinking — The unit is receiving power, either locally or remotely (via PoE) and is booting up.
• Lit — The unit is receiving power, either locally or remotely (via PoE) and is operational.

Configuration port — This USB-C port can be used to configure the decoder and to update firmware.

NAV LEDs
• VIDEO LED — Indicates the status of the input video stream.
• Lit steadily— The unit is decoding the video input stream.
• Blinking — The unit is decoding the video input stream, but network errors are present that affect the
image.
• HDCP LED — The video input stream is HDCP encrypted.
• AUDIO LED — Indicates the status of the input audio stream.
• Lit steadily— The unit is decoding the audio input stream.
• Blinking — The unit is decoding the audio input stream, but network errors are present or the audio
stream of the tied encoder is disabled.
