6. Repeat steps 2 through 5 for any additional buttons that you want to replace, then
reattach the faceplate.
Connecting the MLC to the Computer USB Port
The front panel USB mini-B port provides the means of configuring the MLC via the
configuration program or SIS commands and to update the firmware.
To connect the controller to the computer:
1. Remove the faceplate (see Removing the Faceplate from a Mounted Unit on
page 17).
2. Connect a USB A-to-USB mini-B cable between the USB Config port and a USB port
on the computer.

3. Configure the MLC ports and buttons as desired, using the MLC 55, 62 and 64
Series Configuration Program (see the program help file for information on these
procedures). To obtain the software, see Downloading and Installing the
Configuration Program on page 29.
