10.4 Residual risks
DANGER
ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD!
• Never hold the mains plug of the mains cable with damp or wet hands when
plugging in or unplugging the appliance.
• In an emergency, pull the mains plug out of the plug socket immediately.
• Remove the mains plug from the plug socket before starting cleaning or service
work.
• A damaged power supply cable must be replaced by the supplier, dealer or After
Sales Service without delay. If cable or mains plug are damaged, do not use the
appliance any longer.
• Do not carry out any work on the appliance other than the cleaning and service
work described in this instruction manual.
10.5 Safety and warnings

• Install and connect the appliance only in accordance with the description in the
instruction manual.
• In an emergency, pull the plug out of the plug socket immediately.
• Do not pull the mains plug out of the plug socket at the cable.
• Remove the plug from the plug socket before starting cleaning or service work.
• A damaged mains power cable must be replaced by our After Sales Service without
delay.
• If the cable or plug is damaged, do not use the appliance any more.
• Do not carry out any work on the appliance other than the cleaning and service
work described in this instruction manual.
• Do not operate any electrical appliances inside the store room that have not been
approved by the manufacturer.
10.6 General safety instructions
• Remove the mains plug from the plug socket or switch off the power supply before
starting cleaning or service work.
• A damaged power supply cable must be replaced by the supplier, dealer or After
Sales Service without delay. If cable or plug are damaged, do not use the appliance
any longer.
• Do not carry out any work on the appliance other than the cleaning and service
work described in this instruction manual.
• Never leave the appliance switched on unnecessarily.
• Close the water tap when the appliance is not in use.
• Clean the outside of the appliance with a damp cloth, do not use abrasive cleaners.
• The appliance door is equipped with an automatic locking system. The appliance
door can only be opened approx. 2-3 minutes after the end of the washing process.
• Never open the door by force or when there is still water in the appliance.
• If necessary, the mains cable can be replaced by the customer service.
• Do not reach into the rotating drum. Risk of injury!
