10.1 Intended use
The appliance is intended for private/household use. The appliance is not suitable for
commercial use.
• The appliance is suitable for washing textiles. Every other form of use is not
considered an intended use.
• Do not operate the appliance other than as described in this instruction manual
otherwise as this would lead to the voiding of warranty claims in the event of faults.
• The appliance is not intended for outdoor use.
• The intended use also implies compliance with the cleaning and maintenance
conditions prescribed by the manufacturer. For safety reasons, modifications or
alterations to the appliance are not permitted.
Any use outside these areas of application is not in accordance with the intended use and
is therefore considered improper use.
10.2 Improper use
The following activities are considered improper use and are therefore prohibited:
• The appliance is not suitable for commercial use.
• Do not connect the appliance to the mains power supply using multiple socket
strips.
• Do not route the mains power cable or hoses under voltage.
• Do not kink the mains power cable.
• Set up the appliance so that the mains plug is accessible at all times.
• Do not pull the mains plug out of the plug socket at the cable.
• Never pour solvents into the appliance.
• Do not place flammable products or objects that are wetted with flammable
products in or near the appliance.
10.3 Safety for specific groups of people
• This appliance can be used by children above 8 years of age, and by persons with
limited physical, sensory or mental aptitude or lack of experience and/or knowledge
if they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the appliance and
understand the associated hazards.
• Children must not be allowed to play with the appliance. Keep children under 8
years of age away from the appliance or supervise them at all times.

Packaging materials (e.g. plastic film, polystyrene) can be dangerous for children. Keep
packaging materials out of the reach of children.
WARNING
RISK OF POISONING!
Detergent is corrosive! Keep children away.
