• Do not set up the appliance outside.
• Do not place the rear panel of the appliance in front of curtains or drapes.
Levelling
To compensate for slight unevenness in the floor, adjust the appliance's screw feet. Tool
required for aligning a device: Spirit level and screwdriver.
1. Use the spirit level to check that the appliance is level.
2. If necessary, use a screwdriver to screw the screw feet in or
out.
3. Level all screw feet so that the appliance is absolutely
horizontal and stable.
Ø The more precisely the appliance is aligned, the lower the wear
and airborne noise emissions.
10.2 Electrical connection
Refer to the rating plate for information on the mains voltage, type of current and the
required fuse protection. The type plate is located on the side of the appliance filler
opening.
Connection may only be made via a properly installed and earthed power socket.
Ø It is essential to avoid placing the appliance next to radiators, a
cooker, direct sunlight or other sources of heat; in places where
there is high humidity (e.g. outdoors - risk of rusting of metal
parts); in places where the temperature drops below 5°C or rises
above 35°C, near volatile and flammable materials (e.g. gas,
petrol, alcohol, etc.).
