11 Putting into Operation
Clean the appliance and the interior parts thoroughly before putting into operation
(see chapter 12).
11.1 Connect the device electrically
1. Connect the appliance to the mains power supply.
2. Check that the mains plug is securely connected. Electrical connection, see rating
plate.
Switching off the appliances
1. Turn the temperature control knob to 0.
2. Remove the mains plug from the plug socket.
à The appliance is switched off and no longer cools.
11.2 Set the temperature
• The temperature depends on certain factors, such as the place of installation, how
often the appliance door is opened and closed or how the appliance is loaded.
• With very high summer temperatures, set the temperature regulator to a higher
level to maintain the desired cooling temperature.
• For optimum energy consumption, leave the glass shelves in the appliance as
shown (see Fig. Locate the coldest position in the cold room)
