Automatically heat up quickly
→ All cooking zones are equipped with a special mechanism that
sets the cooking power to level 9 at the start of cooking,
regardless of the power actually set.
→ After 120 seconds, the cooking zone power returns to the
originally set level.
The automatic rapid heat-up can be activated on every cooking
zone for every power level except level 9 and P .
Pot detection failed
The display of this symbol alternating with the selected heating performance
means:
• There is no cookware on the selected cooking zone
• The cookware is not suitable for induction
• The cookware is too small or not centred on the cooking zone.
The induction process only starts as soon as induction-suitable cookware is on the
cooking zone.
Switching off the cooking zone
10. Touch the selection button of the cooking zone.
11. To switch off the cooking zone,
- move the heating performance to 0 with -.
or
- To switch off the appliance, touch the ON/OFF button.
Residual heat
When a cooking zone is switched off, if the cooking zone surface is above 80°C, the
cooking zone display shows the illuminated message H. In the example: the cooking
zone at the back left.
This light only goes out again,
• as soon as the temperature of the cooking zone falls below 80°C.
Even if the residual heat indicator goes out, the cooking zone surface can still cause
burns!
When the indicator flashes alternately with the heating level, this
means that:
➢ You have not placed a pan on the correct cooking zone, or the pan
you are using is not suitable for induction cooking, or the pan is too
small or not centred correctly on the cooking zone.
Heating starts on the selected cooking zone only with a suitable
pan. The display switches off automatically after 1 minute if no
suitable cookware is placed on it.
