11 Practical tips for cooking
Below you will find some important tips for using your new hob and cookware in an
energy-saving and efficient way.
• The pot base diameter should be the same size or only slightly larger than the hob
diameter.
• When buying pots, pay attention to the fact that the upper pot diameter is often
specified. The upper pot diameter is usually larger than the pot bottom.
• Pressure cookers are particularly time- and energy-saving due to the closed
cooking chamber and the overpressure. The short cooking time preserves
vitamins.
• Always ensure that there is a sufficient amount of liquid in the pressure cooker, as
the hob and the cooker can be damaged by overheating if the cooker is empty.
• If possible, always close cooking pots with a suitable lid.
• Use the right pot for every amount of food.
