8.2 Misuse
The following activities are considered misuse and are therefore prohibited:
• The unit is not suitable for commercial use.
• Do not set up the unit outdoors.
• Do not connect the unit to the mains with multiple sockets.
• Do not lay the mains cable on voltage.
• Do not bend the mains cable.
• Set up the unit so that the mains plug is accessible.
• Do not pull the mains plug out of the socket by the mains cable.
• Never store objects on the cooking surface.
• Never store easily flammable materials above/below the appliance.
- If the unit is switched on unintentionally, the parts may deform or ignite.
• Do not place aluminium foil or plastic on the hobs.
• Keep everything away from the hot hob that can melt, e.g. plastics, foil, especially
sugar and foods with a high sugar content.
• Keep electrical appliances away from hot hobs.
• Take special care when frying:
- Oil and grease can ignite.
• Never extinguish burning oil or grease with water.
8.3 Safety to certain groups of people

Keep children under 8 years of age away from the mains cable of the appliance.

Keep children away from the packaging materials.

DANGER TO THE LIVES OF CHILDREN!
• This appliance may be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and or
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children must not play with the appliance. Keep small children (under 8 years)
away from the appliance.
• Do not allow children to carry out cleaning and user maintenance unless
supervised.
• Children are not allowed to use this appliance unless they have been trained to do
so. They must be able to operate the appliance correctly and understand the
dangers to which the instructions for use refer.
