Switching off the timer prematurely
1. Touch the slider from the cooking zone of which you want to switch off the timer.
▷ The illuminated point and the power level are blinking.
2. Touch the minus (-) key or the plus (+) key of the timer
▷ The time is flashing.
3. Simultaneously touch the minus (-) key and the plus (+) key of the timer to set the time to
‘00’.
▷ The timer is switched off.
Minute minder
The minute minder is not connected to a cooking zone. The minute minder does not switch off a
cooking zone. Only an alarm sounds.
If no power has been set for 1 or more cooking zones, the minute minder cannot be set.
An active minute minder is switched off when active cooking zones are switched off.
The hob is switched on and the power has been set for at least one cooking zone. No cooking
zone has been selected.
1. Touch the plus (+) key of the timer
▷ The timer display shows ‘10.’.
▷ The red dot next to the time indicates that the minute minder is set.
2. Set a time with the minus (-) key or the plus (+) key of the timer.
▷ When the time is set, the minute minder starts counting down.
▷ When the set time has elapsed, you hear an audio signal during 30 seconds.
3. Switch off the audio signal by briefly touching the lock key.
Set the time to ‘00’ to switch off the minute minder before the time has passed.
Lock function
By activating the lock function, you can lock the keys while using the hob. Only the on/off key
and the lock key will be active.
The hob is switched on and in use.
1. Touch the lock key for about 3 seconds.
▷ ‘Lo’ appears in the timer display. You will hear a beep.
▷ The lock function is activated.
2. Touch the lock key again for about 3 seconds.
▷ ‘Lo’ disappears. You will hear a beep.
▷ The lock function is deactivated.
