Presence detection function
Your appliance is equipped with a Presence detection function, which works as follows:
• If there is no movement in front of the Presence detector on the front of the appliance
for 3 consecutive minutes, the appliance stops heating. Heating resumes as soon
as movement is detected.
• Press the round Presence detection switch at the back of the appliance to
activate or deactivate this function. The Presence detector light is green or red,
indicating that the function is activated or deactivated.
Charging a peripheral device
Your appliance is equipped with a USB-C port (2.0A):
• This allows you to charge peripheral devices such as mobile phones.
• Plug the USB end of a cable (not supplied) into the USB port and connect the other
end to your appliance.
When you have fi nished
6. When you have fi nished, press the On/Off switch at the back of the appliance
(position 0).
7. Unplug the appliance.
• Anti-tilt safety: if the appliance tips over, it stops automatically. Put it
back in an upright position to restart it.
• Thermal safety: if the appliance overheats (e.g. if it is covered by
clothing), it automatically shuts down. Uncover it to restart it.

• Always unplug the power cord from the mains
outlet and allow the appliance to cool before
cleaning or maintenance.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or any
other liquid.
• Never use abrasive cleaning products on this
appliance (e.g. alcohol, solvent).
1. Use a slightly damp cloth to wipe the outside of the heater and remove dust and dirt.

3. Make sure that the heater is dry before plugging it in again.
