Removing the power cord from the storage compartment
1. The power cord storage compartment is located on the back of the chest freezer.
2. Insert a flathead screwdriver into the gap at the side of the power cord storage compartment
and prise open the cover.
3. Take the power cord out of the storage compartment.
4. Close the cover and then plug the appliance into a mains socket. The control panel screen
display turns on.

Connecting to the power
When you plug in the chest freezer to the mains socket, it automatically turns on and the control
panel display lights up. After 3 seconds the display enters normal mode and the set freezer
temperature displays. When the fridge is turned on, it automatically activates the display sleep
mode. Therefore, if there is no operation for 30 seconds, the display will turn off. The freezer
features a memory function that restores the last setting used before it was unplugged once it is
turned off and then plugged back in.
