5.3 Installing the respiratory system on the belt

Place belt and PAPR unit at correct

position

Unlock the hook and loop fastener

and pass through the blower assem-

bly’s belt loops;

Pass the fastening belt through the

gap on belt.

Attach the hook and loop fastener

onto the belt.

Attach the harness to the belt’s 4 plas-

tic rings.

Make sure the belt is securely fastened while wearing.
