5.1 Filter installation and replacement

Open and remove the lter cover

The lter cover is released.

Remove the used lter by depressing

the lter latch and lifting it out from

cover.

Remove the pre-lter.

Clean the spark arrestor if necessary

Install a new lter by reversing the ac-

tions in steps 3 and 4

If the lter is wet or heavily loaded with particles or damaged, it

should be replaced. Never attempt to clean the lter by any means, it can

damage the lter media easily. The pre-lter should be intact without any

tears or cuts. Please replace the pre-lter if it becomes wet or heavily loaded

with particulate.
