Precaution
When using the serial interface:
If DTR/DSR control is set, the printer transmits only one byte after
confirming that the host computer is ready to receive data (DSR signal is
SPACE). If the host computer is not ready to receive data (DSR signal is
MARK), the printer waits until the host computer is ready.
If XON/XOFF control is set, the printer transmits only one byte and does
not acknowledge the DSR signal status.
This command is executed when data is generated in the print buffer.
Therefore there may be a time interval between the reception of this command
and the transmission status, depending on the status of the receive buffer.
When the automatic status reply ASB is activated with GS a, the status
transmitted with GS r and the ASB status must be distinguished.
