BrightEye 16 is powered by a 12 volt DC universal power supply. This power
supply can accept an input voltage between 90 and 230 volts, at 50 or 60 Hertz. It
uses a standard IEC line cord and can be used anywhere in the world. It is
normal for the converter to be quite warm to the touch when operating.
APPLICATIONS
The versatility of BrightEye 16 can be utilized in a number of different applica-
tions where conversion of SDI to analog video with timing and disembedded audio
is required. An example of using BrightEye 16 is given below.
D-to-A Conversion to Analog Destination
One application, shown in the illustration below, utilizes the full functionality of
BrightEye 16 by using the converted SDI input from a video server to feed an
analog VTR, all timed to the same house reference.
