Cleaning - ENGLISH 21
Area Cleaning method
Rails Soak and clean with hot soapy water with a dish cloth or brush.
Food probe Clean with hot soapy water with a dish cloth or a brush. Do not clean in the
dishwasher.
NOTE!
• Slight differences in colour on the front of the oven are caused by the use of different materials, such as
glass, plastic and metal.
• Shadows on the door panels, which look like streaks, are caused by reflections made by the interior
lighting.
• The enamel surfaces are exposed to very high temperature and this causes some slight colour variation.
This is normal and does not affect operation. The edges of thin trays cannot be completely enamelled. As
a result, these edges can be rough. This does not impair the anti-corrosion protection.
Clean the oven with pyrolytic cleaning
Use the pyrolytic cleaning function to thoroughly clean the oven cavity.
The cooking compartment is heated up to a very high temperature. Residue from roasting, grilling and baking will burn.
For safety reasons, the temperature and operating time cannot be adjusted with this operating mode. The cooking
compartment door is locked automatically. It cannot be opened until the temperature decreases to relatively safe level.
The interior lighting remains off during cleaning.
WARNING!
Risk of fire!
• Before starting pyrolytic cleaning, always remove the worst of the food residue and remnants from the
cooking compartment.
A large number of food remnants, fat and meat juices may catch fire when the pyrolytic mode is in
progress.
• Do not use the pyrolytic mode for cleaning accessories.
• Never hang combustible objects, for example tea towels, on the door handle. Do not place anything near
the front of the product. Keep children away from the product. The product will become very hot on the
outside during the pyrolytic mode.
• Do not scrub or remove the seal. Never operate the product if the seal is damaged or missing. If the door
seal is damaged, a large amount of heat will be generated around the door.
WARNING!
Risk of burns!
• The product becomes extremely hot during the pyrolytic mode.
• Some parts of the product may retain heat for a long time. Wait for the parts that are directly exposed to
heat to cool down before touching them.
• Only let the following groups use the product if they are supervised or if instructions are provided to them
about how to use the product in a safe way. They must understand the hazards involved.
– Children. (Children younger than 8 years old must be continuously supervised.)
– Persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities.
– Persons with lack of experience and knowledge.
WARNING!
Risk of serious harm to health!
• The product becomes very hot when the pyrolytic mode is in progress.
• Never clean baking trays or baking tins using the pyrolytic mode. The high temperature destroys the
coating on baking trays and tins and noxious gases are released.
