CLEANING
Clean the oven
Make sure to clean your oven regularly to make it last longer and keep a good appearance. The modern design of this
oven keeps maintenance to a minimum.
CAUTION!
Do not use the following items to clean the oven as they can cause surface damage.
• Harsh abrasive cleaners
• Hard scouring pads
• Cleaning sponges
• High pressure cleaners
• Steam cleaners
• Disconnect the power before performing any maintenance and cleaning.
• Before cleaning, set all controls in the off position.
• Before cleaning, wait until the inside of the oven cavity is not hot but only slightly warm.
• Clean the surface of the oven cavity with a damp cloth, soft brush or fine sponge and then wipe dry.
• If there is heavy soiling, use hot water with a non-abrasive cleaning product.
• Never leave acidic substances (lemon juice, vinegar) on stainless steel parts.
• Always keep the oven clean and remove dirt immediately so that stubborn deposits of dirt do not build up.
• Always remove flecks of lime scale, grease, starch and albumin (for example egg white) immediately.

Clean with a dish cloth with hot soapy water and then dry with a soft cloth.
Remove flecks of limescale, grease, starch and albumin (for example egg white)
immediately. Corrosion can form under such flecks. Special stainless steel
cleaning products suitable for hot surfaces are available from ELON after-sales
service or from specialist retailers. Apply a very thin layer of the cleaning product
with a soft cloth.
Plastic Clean with a dish cloth with hot soapy water and then dry with a soft cloth. Do not
use glass cleaner or a glass scraper.
Painted surfaces Clean with a dish cloth with hot soapy water and then dry with a soft cloth.
Control panel Clean with a dish cloth with hot soapy water and then dry with a soft cloth. Do not
use glass cleaner or a glass scraper.
Door panels Clean with a dish cloth with hot soapy water and then dry with a soft cloth. Do not
use a glass scraper or a stainless steel scouring pad.
Door handle Clean with a dish cloth with hot soapy water and then dry with a soft cloth. If
descaler comes into contact with the door handle, wipe it immediately. Otherwise,
any stains will not be able to be removed.
Glass cover for the interior lighting Clean with a dish cloth with hot soapy water and then dry with a soft cloth. If the
glass cover is heavily soiled, use oven cleaner.
Door seal Clean with a dish cloth with hot soapy water. Do not scour. Do not remove the
door seal.
Accessories Soak and clean with hot soapy water with a dish cloth or brush. If there are heavy
deposits of dirt, use a stainless steel scouring pad.
