• If the selected cooking mode is not a cooking mode with fan heating, one, decrease the temperature setting to 50 °C,
5 to 10 minutes before the end of the cooking or baking time. This allows the remaining cavity heat to complete the
process.
• Use a cooking mode with fan heating whenever possible. This reduces the temperature by 20 °C to 30 °C.
• Cooking modes with fan heating allow to cook more than one level at the same time.
• If it is not possible to cook or bake different dishes at the same time, heat one dish after the other to use the preheat
status of the oven.
• Do not preheat the empty oven, if it is not required. If necessary, put the food into the oven immediately after the target
temperature is reached.
• Do not use reflective foil, such as aluminium foil, to cover the bottom of the cooking compartment.
• Use the timer or a food probe whenever possible.
• Use lightweight cookware with a dark matte finish. Try not to use heavy accessories with shiny surfaces, such as
stainless steel or aluminium.
Oven functions
Oven lamp
Enables you to observe cooking progress without opening the door. The oven lamp comes on automatically
for all oven functions, except the ECO function and the pyrolytic cleaning function.
Defrost
Circulation of air at room temperature enables quicker thawing of frozen food (without use of any heat). It is
a gentle but fast way to speed up defrosting time and thawing of, for example, ready-made dishes and
produce filled with cream.
Bottom heater
A concealed element in the bottom of the oven provides heat. It is mainly used for adding extra browning to
the bases of pizzas, pies, and pastries. The temperature can be set within the range of 30-220°C. The
default temperature is 170°C.
Conventional cooking
For traditional baking and roasting on one level. Especially suitable for cakes with moist toppings. The
temperature can be set within the range of 30-250°C. The default temperature is 180°C.
Conventional cooking with fan
The fan distributes the heat from the heating elements throughout the cooking compartment. Dishes are
lightly browned on the outside and still moist on the inside. For baking and roasting on one or more levels.
The temperature can be set within the range of 50-250°C. The default temperature is 160°C.
