INSTALLATION
Follow the instructions in this section to install your dryer.
WARNING!
• If this dryer is to be stacked on top of a washing machine, a stacking kit must be used (ordered
separately). To avoid hazards, only the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly qualified technician
may stack the machines.
• Make sure that air is able to circulate freely around the dryer. Do not obstruct the front air inlet or the air
intake grilles at the back of the dryer.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, the manufacturer’s service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• To ensure your safety, connect the plug to an earthed socket. Check carefully to ensure that your socket is
properly and reliably earthed. If in doubt, contact a qualified electrician.
• Do not connect the dryer to the mains power by an extension cord, a multi-socket adapter, or similar.
• Before plugging in the dryer, make sure the connection parameters of the dryer match the mains
electricity supply. See the specifications in this manual. The information can also be found on a label on
the dryer. If in any doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
• Make sure that the power plug always is accessible so that the dryer can be disconnected from the
mains.
Unpack the tumble dryer
1. Remove the cardboard box and styrofoam packaging.
2. Lift the product and remove the base packaging.
