WARNING!
After the installation is complete, make sure that the user has no access to the electrical components.
Make sure that the power cord cannot be reached through cupboard doors or drawers.
CAUTION!
Adjacent and surrounding surfaces must be able to handle a temperature of 90 °C temperature.
Make sure the glue that joins plastic or wooden material to the furniture can handle a temperature of at
least 150 °C to prevent the panelling from coming loose.
The product should be installed so that heat can be radiated well to increase its reliability.
Make sure that the furniture that the product will be mounted on can handle the weight after the cutting
operations are complete. For thin plates, provide suitable support parts to ensure the carrying capacity
and durability. Take the weight of the product into account, including any additional loads. The weight of
the product is on the label on the package.
To prevent damage, the sandwich layer and adhesive must be heat resistant.
CAUTION!
Do not install the hob directly above a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine or clothes dryer,
because the humidity may damage the hob electronics.
Make sure that the power plug always is accessible so that the product can be disconnected from the
mains.
After the installation is complete, the bottom surface and power cord of the hob are not accessible.
Do not bend or compress the power cord. The power cord must be checked regularly and replaced by
authorised technicians when necessary.
Safety during operation
DANGER!
Risk of electric shock!
If the hob surface breaks, immediately disconnect the product from the mains to avoid possible electric
shock. Do not use the product.
WARNING!
Risk of burns!
Do not touch parts that are hot. Cookware and other parts of the product can get very hot during use.
There is a risk of burns from residual heat. The cooking zone is indirectly heated by the heated cookware
and stays hot for a while even after it is turned off.
Avoid contact with cloth or other flammable materials before all components of the hob are sufficiently
cooled.
Do not place metal objects like knives, forks, spoons or lids on the cooking zones, as these objects can
become very hot.
If there is a fire, turn off the product and cover the flame with a lid or a fire blanket. Do not use water to
put out the fire.
When cooking food rich in oil, such as frying, keep it under supervision. Oil and fat can heat up quickly,
especially if you are using the Power-boost function. Overheated greases and oils can ignite
spontaneously and easily cath fire.
Do not leave the product unattended when in use. When liquids boil over, they can produce smoke and
greasy spills that may catch fire.
