Turn off a cooking zone
1. Touch the selected cooking zone control.

Touch and slide to the left until 0 is displayed.
To turn off the hob, touch and hold .
Hob power levels
Select the power level best suited for what you want to do.
Here are some guidelines of how to use the different power levels. The setting will depend on several factors, including
the type of your cookware and the amount of food.
Power level Use for
1-2 • delicate warming for small amounts of food
• melting chocolate, butter, and foods that burn quickly
• gentle simmering
• slow warming
3-4 • reheating
• rapid simmering
• cooking rice
5-6 • pancakes
7-8 • sautéing
• cooking pasta
9 • stir-frying
• searing
• bringing soup to the boil
• boiling water
Use the Pause/resume function
• You can pause the cooking instead of turning the hob off by using the Pause/resume function.
•
When the cooking is paused, all the controls except are disabled.
• The hob will turn off after 10 minutes if you do not exit the pause mode.

Touch to pause the cooking.

Touch to resume cooking at the previous setting.
Use the Power-boost function
• Use Power-boost function to quickly boil water or heat the frying pan.
• When running individual zones, only one zone can be used with the Power-boost function, while the maximum power
level of the other zone is limited to 7.
• The Power-boost function can be used for maximum 5 minutes. Then the cooking zone returns to its previous setting. If
the previous power level is 0, it will return to power level 9 after 5 minutes.
• The Power-boost function can be used for maximum 5 minutes for the flexible cooking zone.
