Troubleshooting - ENGLISH 35
Temperature inside is too warm
The problem can have different causes. Follow the instructions for the suggested causes to solve the problem.
Temperature setting is set to too warm
Decrease the temperature. See section "Change the temperature", page 15.
Door is left open too long or too frequently
Make sure that the door is fully closed. Check that the door is not kept open by some obstacle.
Freezer does not have sufficient space around it
Move the freezer so that it has sufficient space around it. See section "Installation area", page 36.
Large quantity of food was placed in the freezer within the last 24 hours
Temporarily turn the temperature down. See section "Change the temperature", page 15
Temperature inside is too cold
Temperature setting is set to too cold
Increase the temperature. See section "Change the temperature", page 15.
Layer of frost in the compartment or on the door seal
Door seal is not airtight
1. Heat the door seal with a hot towel or a hair dryer on the cool setting.
2. Let the door seal cool and dry before closing the door.
If the seal cannot be restored and needs to be replaced, contact the support. Contact Elvita support if you need help
with your product.
Water on the floor
The problem can have different causes. Follow the instructions for the suggested causes to solve the problem.
Water pan (located at the rear bottom of the cabinet) is not properly leveled
This may cause the water to not be directed into the water pan as intended and spill onto the floor instead. Pull the freezer
away from the wall to check the pan and spout. Remove dirt and debris.
Draining spout (located underneath the top of the compressor depot) is not properly positioned or is blocked
This may cause the water to not be directed into the water pan as intended and spill onto the floor instead. Pull the freezer
away from the wall to check the pan and spout. Remove dirt and debris.
The compressor does not start when the temperature is changed
Compressor does not start directly after the temperature is changed
It is normal for the compressor to not start immediately after the temperature in the freezer is changed.
