TROUBLESHOOTING
Freezer is not working correctly
WARNING!
• Only authorised technicians may carry out repairs.
• If you experience problems with the product, see if the user instructions and troubleshooting information
can help you find a solution. If the problem persists, contact an authorised technician, qualified electrician
or the retailer where the product was purchased.
The problem can have different causes. Follow the instructions for the suggested causes to solve the problem.
The freezer is not switched on
Turn on the freezer. See section "Turn on and turn off the freezer", page 13
Power supply is not working
1. Check the fuse or circuit of the power supply.
2. If it is not in working condition contact an authorised electrician.
Main plug is not inserted
Connect main plug to power outlet.
Voltage is too low
The mains voltage must correspond to the voltage specified on the rating plate.
Noise from the freezer
The problem can have different causes. Follow the instructions for the suggested causes to solve the problem.
Noise is normal during operation
The following noises are normal during operation:
• Clicking noise before the compressor starts.
• Noise from the compressor running.
• Air movement noise from the small fan motor in the freezer compartment or other compartments.
• Bubbling or splashing noises when refrigerant flows into the thin tubes
• Short time of splashing noises after the compressor has been switched off.
Cabinet is not level
Level the freezer. See section "Level the freezer", page 39.
Back of the freezer touches the wall
Move the freezer so that it has sufficient space around it. See section "Installation area", page 36.
Bottles or containers fall or roll
Check if any bottles or containers have fallen or rolled.
A component, for example a pipe, on the rear of the freezer is touching another part of the freezer or the wall
If necessary, carefully bend the component out of the way.
