Safety during operation
WARNING!
• Do not store explosive substances in this product, such as aerosol cans that contain a flammable
propellant.
• Do not store flammable gas or liquids in the product, there is a risk of an explosion.
• Pack food in bags and liquids in bottles or capped containers before putting them into the chest freezer.
This is to avoid soiling the product.
• Do not use the chest freezer to store water or food that requires water as a storage medium.
• Never place fresh seafood containing water into the chest freezer directly.
WARNING!
Keep burning candles, lamps and other items with naked flames away from the product to avoid the risk of
fire.
WARNING!
• Do not remove or place food or containers in the freezer compartment with wet hands when the product
is running, especially metal containers, to avoid the risk of skin abrasions and ice burns.
• Do not consume frozen food, such as ice popsicles and ice cubes, straight from the freezer. This may
cause ice burns.
WARNING!
• Keep ventilation openings inside the product clear of obstruction.
• Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of the product, other than those
recommended by the manufacturer.
• Do not overload the chest freezer to avoid items falling and causing injury or damage to the chest
freezer.
WARNING!
Do not operate the product without the interior lighting lamp cover.
CAUTION!
• Do not place hot items near the plastic components of the product.
• Do not place food products directly against the air outlet on the rear wall.
