2. Wash the seals with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse and dry the seals thoroughly after cleaning.
3. Plug in the chest freezer.
WARNING!
• Ensure that the power plug is firmly inserted into a dedicated wall outlet and that it is not abnormally hot.
• Ensure that the power cord is not cracked or damaged. If the power cord is damaged, contact the dealer
from whom you purchased the product or contact Elvita support.
Defrost the chest freezer
The chest freezer needs to be defrosted if the frost is too thick (about 4 mm). Defrost the freezer 2-3 times a year.
WARNING!
• Unplug the chest freezer before defrosting. There is a risk of electric shock.
• Do not plug the chest freezer back into the power socket unless the interior is completely dry.
CAUTION!
• Do not use metal objects or sharp objects to remove frost from the freezer interior. They may damage the
surface of the product.
• Regularly clean surfaces that can come in contact with food and accessible drainage systems.
• Do not heat the chest freezer directly with hot water or hair dryer while defrosting. It can cause
deformation of the interior surface.
