3. Leave the door slightly open and wait for 15 minutes before removing the dishes.

Empty the lower basket first and then the upper basket, to prevent water dripping.

Items suitable for use in dishwasher
Before you load the dishwasher, make sure the dishes are dishwasher-safe.
NOTE!
Do not wash dishes soiled by cigarette ash, candle remnants, polish, dyestuff, chemicals, etc. in your
dishwasher.
The following items are not dishwasher-safe:
Cutlery with wooden, horn, china or mother-of-pearl handles;
Plastic items that are not heat-resistant;
CAUTION!
Check any plastic items to make sure they are marked as dishwasher safe.
Older cutlery with glued parts that are not temperature resistant;
Bonded cutlery items or dishes;
Pewter, tin or copper items;
Crystal glass;
Steel items subject to rusting;
Wooden trays and cutting boards;
Items made from synthetic fibres.
The appearance of some items can deteriorate when used in a dishwasher:
Some types of glasses can become dull after a large number of washes.
Silver and aluminium parts have a tendency to discolour during washing.
Glazed patterns may fade if machine-washed frequently.
Consider purchasing utensils that are marked as dishwasher-safe.
Use a mild and gentle dishwasher detergent.
Select a low-temperature programme for delicate items.

You can fold up the cup racks in the upper and lower basket basket to make room for taller items.
