4.16 Setting the Product SNMP
You can obtain information via SNMP and set SNMP traps as an event rule action.
1. Select "System" > "SNMP."
2. Select a version from the "Version" list box.
3. If "Version" is "v1 & v2c," set each item.
– "Read Community" (Read Community [}28])
– "Trap Address" (Trap Address [}28])
– "Trap Community" (Trap Community [}28])
4. Click "Apply."
Attention
• If the "Read Community" is blank, information cannot be obtained by SNMP.
• If "Trap Address" and "Trap Community" are blank, SNMP traps for event rules will not work.
Read Community
Settings: Alphanumerics and symbols (up to 32 characters)
Enter the read community.
Trap Address
Settings: "0.0.0.1" to "255.255.255.254"
Enter the SNMP trap notification destination address of the event rule.
Trap Community
Settings: Alphanumerics and symbols (up to 32 characters)
Enter the trap community.
