Preparations for drilling in the floor and cover
To perform drilling in the floor and cover, the drilling motor should be installed
directly on the slide (5) with the aid of collar clamping adapters (13). To perform
installation tasks, attach the slide (5) by tightening the clamping lever (8).
Remove the pivoting arm of the machine (4) and install the collar clamping
adapter (13) at the same position, in place of the pivoting arm.
Release the clamping lever for the tension clamp and loosen the tension clamp.
Before you do this, remove the auxiliary handle for the core drilling machine.
Place the core drilling machine in the mount and lock the tension clamp with the
aid of the clamping lever.
Release the clamping lever (8) before drilling.
Preparations for drilling in the wall:
Position the drilling rig at a distance of 1.16 m from the wall and brace it with the
cover - see the illustration on page 1.
Insert the pivoting arm (4) in the slide (5). To use the pivoting feature, release
the clamping lever (9), move the arm to the desired horizontal position and lock
the clamping lever.
Brace the pivoting arm against the wall with the aid of the clamping chuck (11).
Install the drilling motor as described above.
For operation with the core drill machine you have to attend
the operating instructions and the safety indications!
Securing the slide:
To perform installation tasks on the drilling rig, both slides (5+10) can each be
secured by locking the clamping lever.
To do this, loosen the wing nut with the aid of a open-
end wrench SW19. Unscrew the clamping chuck until
it firmly abuts the wall. To do this, a screwdriver or
similar tool can be inserted in the borehole of the
clamping chuck.
Tighten the wing nuts again firmly.
