5. WiLD DECT TECHNOLOGY
Ecler WiLD DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) wireless technology
system transmit audio via radio frequency, using 1880 – 1930 MHz bandwidth, (EU DECT,
US DECT).
WiLD is a robust and stable system. Each WiLD-TX has two DECT antennas:
1. Working channel: both antennas transmit audio to receivers.
2. DECT channel handover algorithm: DECT is not hoping periodically but continuously
moves the carrier, searching for the best options to switch in case of low link quality.
An RF system, even a robust one like WiLD, is always exposed to potential performance
failures when working in hostile RF environments.
