7.9 Assembling the tilt sensor

To assemble the tilt sensor:
1. Tilt the machine head.
The sensor (1) has been pre-assembled on the machine
head.
The magnet (2), the spacer (3) and wood screws are in the bag
that contains the bobbins.
2. Align the spacer (3): The spacer (3) is positioned opposite the
sensor (2) when the machine head has been erected.
3. Use the wood screws to tighten the spacer (3) on the edge in
the tabletop cutout ( p. 251).
4. Screw the magnet (2) to the spacer using the screws.
The magnet and the sensor face one another when the
machine head is erected.
